What Announcement Will Steve Jobs Make?

January 15th, 2008 by Lars

Steve Jobs is entering the stage at Macworld in six hours. There has been a lot of speculation about what news he’ll announce.

The probability of a few announcements according to Omar L. Gallaga:

  • 100 percent: Movie rentals for iTunes
  • 80 percent: Wi-Max or 3G in all its future devices
  • 77 percent: An ultra-portable version of the Macbook
  • 68 percent: The end of DRM on iTunes
  • 20 percent: A new version of the iPhone

I am a big fan of mobile Internet and welcome all news in that field. I hope the news is that iPhone is getting 3G. That’s what Europe wants.
