The Market for Web Analytics Is Hot

December 6th, 2007 by Lars

Eric T. Peterson and Richard Maven are painting the picture of a hot market for web analytics. I can confirm that it is also true for the Nordic region. I often get calls from companies looking for talented web analysts, and they aren’t easy to find. I know at least one company that has been searching for more than four months now.

Couldn’t agree more, in the last 2 months I have been approached by 3 different headhunters chasing a web analyst in the Stockholm area.

Do we perhaps point them to eachother? ;-)

    Yeah, that’s probably it! ;-)

I have also had contact with several headhunters for other parts of Northern Europe. Even one for Southern Europe!

Anybody interested should drop me a line and I can point them in the right direction.

    And they are still looking…
If it is the same company I have tried to talk to, they will have a hard time!
I have never seen such a strange recruitment.
But I can talk to the others! ;-)

I don’t feel the case is the same in Norway. Internet is still hot, but the buzz don’t seem to include analytics.

Overhere in the Netherlands we have the same phenomenon. Many companies searching but not enough skilled people.
