Do Agencies Use Web Analytics?
I decided to take a look at the websites of Swedish advertising, web design and brand agencies to find out whether they use web analytics. I contacted them when I couldn’t find any page tags to see if they are possibly analyzing log files. Most failed to provide an answer though.
I also decided to mention if they use any tools for identification of prospects.

Hi Lars,
quite interesting…
Did you check by hand or used a tool to see which WA solution they are using?
I created “WASP”, the Web Analytics Solution Profiler, a Firefox extension that not only detects which tools is tagged on a page, but also tels you all kind of nice info (such as tag values and cookies). I will release a new version soon, so comments and sugestions are welcome!
Check it out at http://blog.immeria.net/search/label/WASP
