Omniture has finally released an alternative to the Instant Survey tool offered by Instadia. The tool was added to the Omniture Suite a few days ago. It has been anticipated for some time, but wasn’t announced until today.

The plan was to have it integrated with SiteCatalyst some time during Q3, 2007.

I’m happy to see that Omniture has adopted the main strenghts of Instadia’s Instant Survey.

• Easy design and launch of survey
• Advanced branching capabilities
• Trigger surveys in response to actions
• Combine survey responses with web analytics data

ClickTale announced today that they’re releasing form field analytics.

At first, three reports will be available:

• Form field completion time
• Share of form fields left blank
• Share of form fields that have had information entered more than once

According to ClickTale, additional form analytics reports will be released soon.
