Eric T. Peterson of Web Analytics Demystified Presents at Internet Marketing Conference in Vancouver
Eric T. Peterson, Web Analytics Demystified, answers three questions about the keynote presentation he’s about to give in Vancouver in a few days. Eric’s presentation will be based on his 2005 JupiterResearch report Web Analytics: Framework for Using Data to Drive Business Success, his strategic consulting practice, and over a decade of work in web analytics.
What should participants expect from your presentation?
With “Competing on Web Analytics” I am working to clarify the steps companies of all sizes need to take to truly benefit from their investment in web analytics. Drawing on the wisdom provided by Tom Davenport and Jeanne Harris in their book “Competing on Analytics” focusing on how the Enterprise can transform their data assets into a sustainable strategic advantage, my presentation draws on my decade of work in the field and interaction with hundreds of companies around the world.
Who should not miss your presentation?
I believe that any company focused on making the most of their use of technology like Omniture, WebTrends, Coremetrics, Unica, and IndexTools will benefit from this keynote presentation. I am also honored to be presenting this work to an esteemed audience of my peers as you’ve invited great web analysts like Jason Burby, Gary Angel, and Bob Page.
What are you looking forward to the most at IMC Vancouver 2008?
Having just completed my own conference the X Change produced in partnership with Semphonic, I am looking forward to delivering the keynote a IMC and then being able to relax and hear about how great companies like SAP, Victoria’s Secret, and Yahoo! are taking advantage of web analytics in their business. I am also looking forward to returning to Vancouver, B.C. as it has been several years since I’ve had the pleasure of visiting one of Canada’s finest cities.
